Costs
The University of Wisconsin Master of Clinical & Health Informatics (CHI) program is a self-sustaining program supported by the UW Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR).
Course fees are charged on a per-credit basis and are the same for resident and nonresident students. Our tuition transparency means students are not responsible for segregated fees and other hidden costs, the cost per credit encapsulates all fees for the program. Costs for textbooks and other course materials are extra.

Financial Aid
Students in the Clinical & Health Informatics degree program are eligible for Federal Student Aid.

Clinical & Health Informatics Program Policies to Note
The Clinical & Health Informatics Program does not provide any type of visa to study in the United States.
Students in the Clinical & Health Informatics Program are not permitted, without Program Director approval, to:
- accept graduate assistantships or other appointments that would result in a tuition waiver
- enroll in other UW-Madison graduate programs
- take courses outside the approved curriculum
